Gianfranco Zola and Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri are on Lazio’s shortlist as they look to replace Edy Reja.
The latter revealed on Thursday that he will be leaving the capital club, hence the outfit’s search for a new Coach.
Zola was already contacted earlier in the season when Reja announced his intention to quit before a Europa League game at Ateltico Madrid, only to then make a U-turn.
While Zola is available having not worked since his dismissal at West Ham in 2010, Mazzarri is under contract at Napoli.
Mazzarri is set to talk about his future at the San Paolo given that the club will now sit down and discuss their project following Sunday’s Coppa Italia win.
Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo, who lifted the Champions League trophy on Sunday, has also been linked with the job.
