French Second Division outfit Monaco have confirmed the capture of Italian defender Andrea Raggi from Bologna.

The 27-year-old has signed a two-year deal, worth €1.2m a season, after his contract at the Stadio Dall’Ara came to an end.

The move was widely expected after the player turned down the offer of a renewal with the Rossoblu.
