There are reports Udinese have beaten Premier League opposition to snap up Caen talent Thomas Heurtaux.
The Friulani have been chasing the centre-back for some time and it seems they have succeeded in capturing the 23-year-old.
According to France Football, a deal has been struck for around €2m with the club that was recently relegated into Ligue 2.
Heurtaux was also wanted by the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Norwich.
The defender scored five goals in Ligue 1 this season.
