Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed Siena boss “Giuseppe Sannino will be our new Coach.”

Sannino stated this week he would like a change and was waiting for the two clubs to discuss this move.

“The agreement with Sannino was reached in only a few minutes. He will be our new Coach for next season,” Zamparini told Radio Marte.

The patron was also asked about transfer rumours surrounding defender Matias Silvestre, who declared he wanted to quit Sicily.

“If Silvestre wants to go, then we will let him leave with an adequate offer. Despite what was written, Napoli are not among the clubs interested.

“The Partenopei haven’t asked me for Giulio Migliaccio either, although he too is tracked by others.”
