Ivan Cordoba and Paolo Orlandoni expressed their emotions after playing their final games in the Inter jersey.
“There are many feelings I am experiencing right now and it’s difficult to get them across,” said Cordoba after the 4-2 friendly win over Indonesia.
“I hope now this squad can do good work and achieve great things for the fans. I thank Inter again and also thank you to Indonesia, who showed us so much affection.
“I am at Inter’s disposal if they want me in future, just as I did during my playing career. If the chance occurs, then I’ll give my contribution.”
This was also the final match for third choice goalkeeper Orlandoni.
“It was very emotional, even if it was a friendly,” he told Inter Channel.
“It was wonderful to play here in front of these truly special fans. Their enthusiasm is incredible and I never thought I’d play my final Nerazzurri game in Jakarta. Thank you Inter. Thank you Indonesia.”
