Jovetic to replace Lavezzi?

There are reports Napoli have pin-pointed the ideal replacement for Ezequiel LavezziFiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic.

It is increasingly likely ‘Pocho’ will not be at the San Paolo next season, as a bidding war erupted between Inter, PSG and Anzhi.

Teammate Christian Maggio also confirmed today that Napoli players had known “for some time” that Lavezzi wanted to leave.

Napoli aim to raise €32m from his sale and Sky Sport Italia report President Aurelio De Laurentiis has spotted the ideal replacement.

Jovetic has shone for Fiorentina this season despite the team’s overall poor campaign and could seek a transfer now that their ambitions have been reduced.

Napoli face competition for the young Montenegro international, who is also wanted by the likes of Juventus, Roma and Chelsea.

Jo-Jo missed all of last season due to a knee injury, but is back to full fitness now and won’t turn 23 until November.
