French Second Division side Monaco have appointed former Inter boss Claudio Ranieri as their new Coach.
Reports yesterday suggested that a deal had been done and the club have now confirmed that he will be sitting on their bench next term.
Ranieri, linked with jobs at Fiorentina and West Brom, has signed a two-year contract with the option of a third.
He’ll be presented to the media on Thursday.
The former Chelsea, Juventus and Roma boss has been out of work since he was dismissed by the Nerazzurri in March.
His replacement at San Siro, Andrea Stramaccioni, yesterday signed a three-year deal with the Beneamata.
