Cicinho has revealed that he will be heading back to Brazil once his contract at Roma expires at the end of this month.
The attacking right-back won’t be offered a renewal in the Italian capital and a switch to South America is on the cards.
“I’ll return to play my football in Brazil, but not with Sao Paulo,” the former Real Madrid player commented.
“I’ve spoken with my agent and he is in advancing talks with a club from the south of the country.”
Cicinho joined the capital outfit in August 2007 after a €9m transfer was agreed with Real, but he had his problems in Rome.
During his five year stay, he was sent out on loan to firstly Sao Paulo and then Villarreal. He played in just two League games for the Giallorossi this term.
