Juventus’ Arturo Vidal is delighted that he marked his return to the Chilean national side with a goal.
The midfielder scored in Chile’s 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over Bolivia at the weekend after previously being suspended from the squad.
Vidal and a number of other teammates were banned after breaking a curfew on the eve of a game against Uruguay in November.
“I dreamed about returning to the national team,” said the Scudetto winner. “The meeting with the rest of my teammates was good and the week has been perfect.
“When you commit an error, you have to be critical of yourself and admit that you have done wrong.”
