Juventus would be making no mistake in securing the signature of Robin Van Persie this summer, says Ruud Gullit.
The Old Lady are keen on the Arsenal and Dutch striker who has just one year left on his contract with his current club.
“Van Persie is world class,” Milan legend Gullit told Tuttosport when asked about the transfer speculation.
“Juventus would certainly be making a great swoop by buying him. He’s a player who can change the face of Antonio Conte’s side.
“Should he join Juventus then they would have a stellar attack with few rivals in the world. I’m not surprised by the transfer speculation surrounding Van Persie.”
The centre-forward yesterday refused to talk in any detail about his future by insisting that he is just focused on Euro 2012.
Although Juve are keen on the former Feyenoord man, Manchester City are also interested in the player.
