Palermo have officially signed Coach Giuseppe Sannino and forward Franco Brienza, taking both from Siena.
It had been known for many weeks that Sannino was in line for the job at the Stadio Barbera, but it was only formally announced this evening.
The 55-year-old tactician has put pen to paper on a two-year contract and is reunited with former Siena director of sport Giorgio Perinetti.
They aren’t the only Siena figures to have come to Sicily this summer, as Palermo also confirmed that Brienza has signed a two-year deal.
It is a return to the Rosanero for Brienza, who already made over 200 appearances for the club.
