After Douglas Maicon’s agent admitted he was looking for a “change of scenery,” he could reunite with Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.
“After six years at Inter, the time may well have come for Maicon to change scenery,” agent Roberto Calenda told Sky Sport Italia on Tuesday.
It is well known that Mourinho tried to sign Maicon when he first arrived in Madrid, but had the proposal rejected by the Nerazzurri.
If Real were to make another offer for the Brazilian veteran, whose wages are around €5m per season, then the response is likely to be different.
There are also reports of interest from Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain for the Treble-winning hero who turns 31 next month.
