The 19-year-old midfielder is considered the new Andrea Pirlo and was part of Italy’s long-list for Euro 2012.

Today Pescara director of sport Daniele Delli Carri told Sportmediaset that “Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in Verratti.”

It’s already well-known that Juventus” data-scaytid=”12″>Juventus and Inter are tracking the player, while Roma were linked due to ex-Pescara Coach Zdenek Zeman taking over.

“I don’t know anything about this, as nobody told me,” replied agent Donato Di Campli on RadioCalciomercato.

“There are many teams who are tracking him, but at this moment all this talk does nothing but create confusion. Some rumours are true, others are not, so I urge great calm. I’d like the boy to be allowed to choose without rush or pressure.”

What both Pescara and the agent agree on is that Verratti wants to spend the coming season with the Delfini upon their return to Serie A.
