The in-demand versatile footballer has been strongly linked with a switch to the other Bianconeri this summer, whilst his agent even recently suggested that Udinese wanted to sell him, with the Turin outfit named as an interested party.

This week saw the links progress further, with Zebrette sporting director Fabrizio Larini’s confirmation that negotiations ‘are advanced’.

However, the 23-year-old Isla, who is currently recovering from serious knee damage, turned to social networking website Twitter to offer his viewpoint.

“Friends, as I write, please notice that I have not yet signed with Juventus or another team. I know of the reports, but I will be the first to notified,” he posted, echoing a similar denial the previous day.
