Udinese will send ‘Romanian Leo Messi’ Gabriel Torje to their Spanish feeder club Granada. “It’ll be better for him,” said his agent.
The 22-year-old talent was brought in as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez last summer, but failed to make much of an impact in his debut Serie A season.
In order to give him time to develop under less intensive pressure, the Friulani are sending him to Granada, a Liga club also owned by the Pozzo family.
“It’ll be better for him, as Granada play with a 4-2-3-1 or even a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3,” agent Cristian Opria told Digisport.
“Granada will reinforce the squad with five or six new players, so it’ll be perfect. I think in a year Torje will be able to prove his quality.”
