Beppe Iachini may have led Sampdoria back into Serie A at the first attempt, but his future is uncertain.
Iachini had a clause in his contract which would automatically renew his contract in Genoa for another season should he ensure promotion.
However, reports from the port city on Monday are suggesting that Iachini will meet with club directors this week to discuss the outfit’s future plans.
Iachini, 48, joined Sampdoria in November after he replaced Gianluca Atzori at Marassi.
Sampdoria are the third club he has led to top-flight promotion after previous success with Chievo Verona and Brescia.
