Serie A side Palermo claim that they have no room in their squad for Novara midfielder Marco Rigoni.
The latter has been linked with the Rosanero, as well as Milan and Genoa, but a move to Sicily seems unlikely.
“I really like Rigoni as a player,” Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini told Sportal. “However, we are well covered in that area of the pitch.
“Actually, we have too many players in that sector of the side.”
Rigoni, 32, scored 11 Serie A goals this season but they were not enough to keep the Piedmont outfit in the top flight.
