Leonardo insists PSG are still in negotiations for both Thiago Silva and Ezequiel Lavezzi. “We’ll see what happens next week.”

The French side is dominating the transfer market this summer with talk of a €25m offer for Napoli hitman Lavezzi and €47m for the Milan defender.

“With regards to Lavezzi, I think everything will slide until next week, as we have not yet completely closed the deal,” PSG director Leonardo told Sky Sport Italia.

“Will he presented to the media soon? We’ll see what happens next week.”

Earlier today, Leonardo also commented on the two-day intensive talks for Thiago Silva, as Adriano Galliani has flown back to Italy.

“The negotiations are still open, but this situation should not go on for a long time. There are still many things to whittle down, many aspects to work out and at this stage I can say we might give up on the signing of Thiago Silva.”

There are reports in Milan that the club basically agreed terms, but is waiting for President Silvio Berlusconi to make a final decision.
