The agent of Marco Verratti is unaware of any deal between Pescara and Juventus for his young client.
“There has been no agreement reached between the two clubs,” representative Donato Di Campli noted. “They are talking, but no official communication has arrived.
“Marco has expressed a desire to stay at Pescara, but we’ll have to see what happens over the next few days.
“He was brought up through the youth ranks here and the fans are very attached to him. He’s the symbol of the team and he doesn’t want to leave following Serie A promotion.”
Verratti, 19, has admitted that he’d like a future in Turin, but the current Italian champions are not the only club keen on his signature.
“All of the important clubs are having a go,” Di Campli continued. “But these are delicate financial times and only a few teams can put money on the table.
“He supports Juventus, but he is a professional and will evaluate the most important project.”
