Alessandro Del Piero’s agent has rejected the idea that his client has decided on where he will play next term, but he does hint at a preference.
The veteran striker is available on a free transfer this summer after Juventus opted against extending his contract in Turin.
With 209 career goals to his name and over 20 years of playing experience, Del Piero has been linked with a number of clubs and in several different countries.
However, whilst reports earlier this week suggested a move to Brazil was looking most likely, the player’s agent has moved to realign that Del Piero has not made a final decision yet.
“There are no concrete situations yet, but some offers have been rejected whilst others have not,” brother and representative Stefano Del Piero confirmed to Calciomercato.com.
“The championship doesn’t matter, but the project does.
“Alessandro has always said that the United States holds a particular fascination.”
