Nicolas Burdisso will be ready for the new season at Roma after recovering from a serious knee ligament injury.
The Argentine was restricted to just one goal in 10 Serie A appearances this season after picking up the problem in a November international against Colombia.
“Burdisso is doing well after his injury,” his representative, Fernando Hidalgo, told Sport Italia. “He’ll stay at Roma.”
The capital club did have their problems at centre-back, but the 31-year-old could be ready for the start of the 2012-13 campaign.
The centre-back joined the capital club in August 2009 after five years at Inter. He has also played for Boca Juniors in his career.
