Fiorentina defender Alessandro Gamberini is “wanted by Bayer Leverkusen and West Ham,” said his agent.
The 31-year-old’s current deal expires with the Viola in July 2013 and he has already received offers from Napoli in recent months.
“We spoke to the club and will postpone the real negotiations to next week,” said agent Francesco Romano.
“Alessandro has another year on his contract and his priority is the Fiorentina jersey. We will see the situation and discuss it, especially as we haven’t lacked for offers.
“At the moment West Ham and Bayer Leverkusen have made enquiries for the player. As we said, he is owned by the Viola and so I sent the messages on to Fiorentina.”
