Martin Jorgensen worked with both Cesare Prandelli and Roy Hodgson and explains the similarities and differences between the tacticians.
The temperature is rising ahead of Sunday night’s Euro 2012 quarter-final, England-Italy in Kiev.
“We had fun with Hodgson at Udinese and they fired him due to disagreements with President Giampaolo Pozzo when the team was in fifth place,” Jorgensen told the Corriere dello Sport.
“He has something in common with Prandelli, which is they both want to be very organised on the field.
“Having said that, Cesare wants his side to take the initiative, impose its style of play and dictate the tempo.
“My prediction for tomorrow night is 50-50, although if Giorgio Chiellini had not been injured then I’d have said Italy were the favourites.”
