That was sorted out on Saturday after the capital club won a blind auction for his services with Parma.

“I am a Roma player,” the Italian international, part of the Azzurri’s Euro 2012 squad, told The Sun newspaper when asked about a possible move to Anfield.

“It’s not my business that there is talk about whether I go to Liverpool or stay. It doesn’t matter to me, I am Roma.”
