“It happened while I was playing with some friends on a football field,” the former Inter player told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani is right to be angry about it, but he has assured me that the club will wait for me to return to full fitness.

“I’m disappointed, but it will now be up to the club to decide whether they fine me or not.”

There were reports over the weekend that the former Udinese” data-scaytid=”7″>Udinese man could have his wages cut while unavailable for action.

Muntari only joined the Diavolo in January after some difficult seasons with the Beneamata.
