Former Lazio and Milan man Alessandro Nesta is reportedly in talks with Toronto FC over a move to the MLS side.
The 36-year-old centre-back, who confirmed in May his departure from San Siro after 10 years, is understood this summer to be angling for a move to the States.
Whilst indications earlier this week suggested that had not panned out as expected, canadiansoccernews.com are suggesting that Toronto officials are looking to reignite interest in the veteran, with the club promising a ‘significant’ signing very soon.
It also follows that Nesta was spotted at Toronto’s game last night against Montreal Impact, where he sat in the crowd with Montreal players Matteo Ferrari and Bernardo Corradi.
