Cagliari have confirmed that they have signed Daniele Dessena on a permanent basis from Sampdoria.
The 25-year-old joined the Sardinian club in January on a loan formula from the then Serie B club. The deal included an option to buy which the Rossoblu have now activated.
The former Italian Under-21 international scored one goal in 12 League games for Cagliari in 2011-12.
The midfielder started his career at Parma before a 2008 switch to Sampdoria. He also spent the 2009-10 campaign on loan at Cagliari.
