Davide Faraoni’s agent confirms that Inter and Udinese’s talks for Samir Handanovic are advanced and that his client will happily move the other way.
Reports this afternoon suggest that the clubs are close to wrapping up negotiations on a deal for shot-stopper Handanovic to move to San Siro, for a fee of €11m, plus co-ownership of the versatile Faraoni.
Asked of the impending switch, Faraoni’s agent confirmed its existence and insisted that his client would be happy to move in the other direction.
“I know they’re talking about it, let’s see what can happen,” Giovanni Bia told reporters on Wednesday.
“I think, however, that this is a deal that can be done between today and tomorrow.
“Davide to Udinese? How do you turn down a club like Udinese? You cannot, they are a great team and a great environment.”
