Marco Verratti’s agent and Pescara’s sporting director reportedly flew out to Paris last night for a meeting this morning with Paris Saint-Germain.
The French side are understood to be willing to pay €11-12m to attain the highly-rated 19-year-old’s services.
Whilst Coach Carlo Ancelotti distanced the Ligue 1 runners-up from making a bid for the creative midfielder, who has been compared to Andrea Pirlo, Sky Sport have reported that his agent Donato Di Campli and the Delfini’s ds Daniele Delli Carri have flown out to meet with PSG director Leonardo over a proposed transfer.
Earlier this week, Pescara’s president Daniele Sebastiani hinted that the player could be sold abroad, due to a lack of money in Serie A. Sebastiani had held negotiations with both Juventus and Napoli for Verratti, only to declare him off the market, unsatisfied with their offers.
