Matias Silvestre’s move to Inter appears to be close to conclusion today as reports indicate that Inter and Palermo have agreed a fee.
Reports yesterday suggested that the two clubs were struggling to reach a settlement for the Nerazzurri to take the Argentine centre-back to San Siro.
However, as the Corriere dello Sport report, the 28-year-old is expected to arrive at the club’s training HQ today, alongside Udinese goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, to ratify personal terms and undergo a medical examination.
His Rosanero employers are understood to have accepted Inter’s offer of an initial loan for the defender. La Beneamata will reportedly pay €2m for a two-season loan, with a further €6m set as the fee for the Milanese side to make the switch permanent.
