Aurelio De Laurentiis looks to be taking inspiration from Giampaolo Pozzo, by announcing that he would like to buy another football club.

The Napoli President is in London today to finalise a three-year deal with Universal Pictures to distribute content produced by his Italian film company Filmauro.

Said to be doubling his company’s output from 10 to 20 films a year as a result, De Laurentiis reflected that his business mind could stretch to further increases in output, back in football.

“After bringing up Napoli to among the biggest teams in Europe, I will try to export my Italian model to other countries, I would like to buy some other team – my base in London could be not just for football and not just for films…”

Cohort Pozzo at Udinese has just acquired his third football club, after the Zebrette and Spanish side Granada, by completing at takeover at Watford.
