Palermo have yet again insisted that Federico Balzaretti will remain after new links with capital club Lazio.
“There has been no offer from the Biancocelesti,” Rosanero director Giorgio Perinetti underlined to Sport Italia.
“The desire of the player is to remain in Sicily and we, as a club, do not want to lose him from our squad either.”
Balzaretti, who shined at Euro 2012 for Italy, has also been linked with moves to Napoli and Milan in recent weeks.
He has stated previously that he will only accept one transfer – to Paris Saint-Germain given that his wife works as a ballerina in the French capital.
