Boca Juniors stopper Facundo Roncaglia has confirmed that he’ll be in Italy next week to complete a move to Fiorentina.
“I will have my medical in Florence on Tuesday,” the Argentine stated. “I’ve been told that it is an amazing city.
“Now I expect to pay back the trust of Fiorentina with the aim of becoming an important element for the club.
“By doing that I then hope to get international recognition with my country.”
The 25-year-old will move to the Viola on a free transfer. Reports suggest he’ll sign a three-year deal worth €500,000 a season.
Roncaglia, who has had spells on loan at Espanyol and Estudiantes in recent years, is a right-back who can also be used in the middle.
