Roma’s links to Sao Paulo youngster Bruno Uvini have received the confirmation and backing of the player’s agent today.

The 21-year-old’s representative has been talking up his client’s hopes of coming to Serie A this season, and from last week’s declaration that Uvini is interested in Lazio, comes the claim that Roma are indeed tracking his services, as previously reported.

“Following Bruno are about four or five teams,” Emanuele Ricci told Il Romanista.

“The transfer market has just begun and I do not exclude that in the coming days there will be important developments.

“Roma, for some time, have been following the boy, but it is another step to buying him.

“They are interested, but so are many teams, so there is nothing concrete.

“His price is around €3m and he wants to move to Italy.”

Sky Sport 24 are reporting that this week saw Sampdoria meet with the player’s entourage to discuss a possible deal.
