The Seahorses will sell their best players following their failure to survive in Serie A and that includes Mutu – the highest earner at the Stadio Manuzzi.

“There is nothing certain about my future yet,” the Romanian told TMW on Monday evening. “Italy or abroad? I’m not bothered…

“I have spoken with Cesena and if I am sold then we will have to find a solution that satisfies myself and the club.

“For the time being I will train with Cesena, but I want to play in a competitive team.”

The 33-year-old joined Cesena from Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”17″>Fiorentina last summer and scored eight goals in 28 League appearances for the side.

An agreement between Cesena and Genoa for Mutu was reached earlier this summer, but the transfer eventually collapsed.
