Torino have edged closer to signing Djamel Mesbah after meeting with Milan officials on Tuesday.

Toro President Urbano Cairo held talks with Diavolo Vice-President Adriano Galliani earlier today to discuss the Algerian.

Reports suggest that the left-back, now 27, will join the newly promoted outfit in a co-ownership agreement.

Mesbah only signed for the San Siro giants in January from Lecce. He scored one goal in 12 games for Massimiliano Allegri’s side.
