Juventus get Pazzini update

Reports in Italy are suggesting that Juventus have enquired about the transfer status of Giampaolo Pazzini.

Juve director general Beppe Marotta met with agent Tulio Tinti on Tuesday where they discussed the future of Sampdoria midfielder Angelo Palombo.

However, Marotta is also understood to have made enquiries about Pazzini after the player suggested his time at Inter was over.

Juve tried to sign Pazzini in January 2011, but the Italian international opted to sign for the Beneamata instead.

No bid for Pazzini is imminent, but he could be targeted later this summer depending on how the club’s search for a top player in attack develops.
