Parma are in the market for a centre-back and have identified Napoli’s Ignacio Fideleff as a possible target.
Fideleff joined the Vesuviani just last summer, but in his first year with the club only managed a handful of appearances.
Subsequently, he has been linked with a move elsewhere this year and the Ducali have confirmed that speculation linking him with them is not wide of the mark.
“Parma are probing the market for some centre-backs,” admitted technical director Antonello Preiti to Gazzetta dello Sport.
“It is true that Fideleff is among these we’re looking at. This is a player that I know very well – I followed him when he was playing in Argentina. He’s a good player, but Napoli have preferred [Salvatore] Aronica and [Hugo] Campagnaro.”
