Doulgas Maicon’s proposed move from Inter to Chelsea has hit a delay over the player’s reported demands.
The Brazilian is in negotiations with the Premier League outfit over a potential €8m transfer, after the 30-year-old’s high-cost contract at Inter was reportedly identified as one that they needed to offload this summer.
However, whilst Chelsea reportedly beat both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain to the full-back, negotiations have hit a snag, with Sky Sport 24 understanding that the Brazilian is asking for a longer contract than the club are prepared to offer.
Even so, it is believed to be an issue that will see a compromise reached, with the player otherwise expected to complete the deal in the coming weeks.
