Giampaolo Pazzini will hold talks with Inter’s hierarchy on Friday to discuss his move away from the club, Sky Sport Italia report.
The striker was told last week in a meeting with Coach Andrea Stramaccioni that he would not be part of next season’s plans so he is free to find a new club.
The 27-year-old is expected to receive several offers but his price tag and wages could deter certain clubs, so today’s meeting will be used to analyse options of offloading him.
Former club Sampdoria were thought to be interested but their signing of Maxi Lopez may have ended any pursuit of Pazzini. Lazio have recently emerged as possibly suitors.
Pazzini is expected to be excluded from the team’s upcoming pre-season friendlies, after Stramaccioni overlooked him for yesterday’s 6-0 win over Trentino.
