An intermediary agent involved in Milan’s January talks to sign Carlos Tevez has denied that the club are back in for the striker, but he hasn’t closed the door.
Giuseppe Riso was a part of the Milanese’s attempts in the winter transfer market to sign the Manchester City striker.
A deal was believed to have been agreed with the player but collapsed due to Alexandre Pato’s financing sale to Paris Saint-Germain being cancelled at the last minute and City’s reported rejection of Milan’s terms for Tevez.
However, in light of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s expected move to the French side this summer, speculation has returned to the idea that Adriano Galliani will try to lure the Argentine once more.
Agent Riso’s confirmed trip on Monday to Manchester has intensified rumours of an immediate move by the Rossoneri, but the agent has looked to clarify the situation.
“Tevez to Milan would be a complicated negotiation, but certainly he remains one of Galliani’s dreams,” Riso began on Sky Sport Italia.
“Perhaps this is the right time for the move. I am leaving for Manchester, yes, but not for business relating to the future of this player.
“But, whilst on a trip you can achieve many things…”
