Roma have rejected reports that Marco Borriello left the club’s Riscone di Brunico training retreat on Sunday.
There was talk that the striker had found a new club after being told by the Giallorossi that he was not part of their plans.
The Stadio Olimpico outfit have however insisted that the forward is still with the rest of the squad, but spent time at the hotel this morning after working in the gym.
Borriello returned to Roma this summer after a six-month loan spell at Juventus – where he didn’t do enough to earn a permanent move.
The former Milan man has been linked with a possible move to Fiorentina in recent weeks.
