Sampdoria have made no offer to Palermo midfielder Giulio Migliaccio, the player’s agent has confirmed.
The 31-year-old has been paired with the port club after putting in a transfer request at the Stadio Barbera.
“I haven’t spoken to anyone from Sampdoria,” agent Francesco Caliandro told Ita Sport Press. “I therefore see this link as a transfer untruth.
“I don’t know if he will remain at Palermo and I don’t know right now what the future for Migliaccio could be.
“The market is open until August 31…”
Migliaccio joined the Rosanero in the summer of 2005 from Atalanta – at the request of then boss Stefano Colantuono – for €5m.
The 31-year-old, former Italian Under-20 international, started his career at Savoia before moves to Bari, Giugliano and Ternana.
