Roma won their third pre-season friendly in a row under Zdenek Zeman on Tuesday with a 2-1 victory over Rapid Vienna.
The victory follows a 2-0 win over Turnu Severin and a 9-0 win over Brunico within the last nine days.
Miralem Pjanic opened the scoring for Zeman’s side in the 10th minute, slotting the ball into the net after a defensive mistake.
Within 15 minutes, Vienna equalized via Terence Boyd’s superb bicycle-kick inside the box despite Bogdan Lobont’s save on the American’s initial effort.
A second half strike by David Pizarro, who has returned to the side following a loan at Manchester City for the second half of last season, proved to be enough to win the game for Zeman’s side.
Roma begin their American tour this weekend in Boston.
