Fiorentina have warned Juventus that Stevan Jovetic will cost €30m – and they will not accept any player exchanges.
However, Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has underlined that the player, who they want to keep, will not come cheap.
“I have spoken with the owners and they have told me that the player is not for sale,” the former Roma official noted.
“Saying that, there is a gentleman’s agreement that if a €30m offer is made, without players included in the bid, then we can sit around a table and discuss it.
“With Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic gone, is Jovetic the last remaining champion in Serie A? He’s a really strong player and we want to start a new project with him in it.”
Juve are looking for a ‘top player’ and Jovetic, along with Arsenal’s Robin Van Persie, is high on their wish-list.
