Bologna midfielder Gaby Mudingayi is looking forward to his imminent move to Italian giants Inter.
The Zaire-born man, who has 17 caps for Belgium, spoke to Radio Mana Mana Sport about his seemingly near Nerazzurri switch, which is set to go through this week.
“To play for a great team like Inter is amazing for any player and a chance to compare yourself with very strong players,” he stated. “Needless to say, when I learned of their interest I was very pleased.”
The 30-year-old has spent four convincing years at Bologna after joining them after a spell at Lazio, but he knows he won’t be seen as a knight in shining armour when arriving at Inter.
“After two beautiful experiences at Lazio and Bologna this opportunity at Inter is a very important occasion,” he added.
“I know I won’t be seen as a top player, but I will have the possibility to convince everyone.
“I love challenges and this represents a great challenge to overcome. I am ready to make myself available to the team, to work hard and go all in.”
The hard-working midfielder also shared his views on the 'new Inter' that is being built.
“Inter is changing a lot, but they know how to bring this squad to its limit. The Nerazzurri directors won’t have any problems to succeed.”
