Captain Massimo Ambrosini says that every club in the world will have to change sooner or later – after Milan sold Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
“Football consists of men and their personalities,” the 35-year-old told Sky Sport Italia. “Milan, although changing, has always remained great.
“Right now I don’t know what will happen, but each year there are changes to be made because we players aren’t eternal.”
Ambrosini, a Milan legend, sporting over 300 appearances for the club since joining in 1995, continued by telling reporters this is not something strange, but something every team has to go through.
“It’s not only Milan who has to make this generation shift. Manchester, Barcelona – sooner or later they will have to change too.”
