After Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva’s sale to Paris Saint-Germain, Alexandre Pato’s agent has moved to reassure fans that he will remain at Milan.
The Brazilian striker hit out at Massimiliano Allegri last winter and was almost sold to PSG in January, whilst summer speculation has linked Pato with another go at negotiations with the French.
However, despite his teammates Ibra and Silva having now made the move, the 22-year-old’s agent has made clear that his intention is to remain with the Rossoneri for next season.
“Alexandre is calm, he is working towards the Olympics with Brazil and after that will be going back to Milan to become their protagonist,” Gilmar Veloz told Tuttomercatoweb.com today.
“There was a possibility in January for him to go to PSG, but now that is part of the past because we did not reach an agreement.
“He will stay at Milan and he is happy to play with the Rossoneri. The club sold Ibrahimovic and Silva, we cannot help that. These are decisions made by the club.
“Today, Alexandre is a Milan player until June 2014, for now we are not speaking about a new contract because there are still two years to go.”
