Maurizio Zamparini has reflected on reaching 10 years as Palermo President and revealed that he doesn’t hold any regrets.

The fiery patron has run through more than 20 Coaches during his decade in Sicily, but does not believe he would go back on any of his previous hirings and firings.

“I don’t regret anything that I have done, they are all experiences,” reflected Zamp to Sky Sport 24.

“Particularly in football it is easy to make mistakes, I’m an impulsive person but to little avail.

“Particularly in football it is easy to make mistakes, I’m an impulsive person but to little avail.

“Sometimes I have woken up and pointed to the mirror, but I have never thought of leaving, just as I have never cried for football.

“I cried for Javier Pastore, but they were tears of joy.

“The greatest Coach I’ve ever had is Francesco Guidolin. The most beautiful victory? Against Juventus at the time of Moggi and Giraudo, they had a very strong team.

“My best goalkeeper? Salvatore Sirigu is a great goalkeeper. Forwards? Luca Toni, Amauri, Fabrizio Miccoli.

“Edinson Cavani? He’s great but with us they said he wasn’t a striker. They were wrong.

“For next year I hope that Palermo are in the top positions. We have a team with many attributes.

“When will I stop? When I die, as late as possible.”
