Internacional have declared that a valuation cannot be placed on striker Leandro Damiao’s head this summer, because he isn’t being sold to Milan.
The Brazilian was strongly linked with a move to Milan this week, with his agents confirmed as in Italy holding preliminary talks with the Rossoneri.
However, the player’s club have rejected the notion that the striker will be leaving them this summer.
“For us there are no negotiations. Nothing at all, we are not willing to give up the player,” declared club President Giovanni Luigi to Milannews.it.
“[Milan may have held talks with his agents], but they need to know to negotiate with us and certainly not his agents.
“We do not intend to open up any negotiation, though, the player is not for sale so there is no need to put a price on his head.”
